Farewell to Paper Crafts magazine

Have you hopped over here from Lea's blog? If so, hello! If not, you're missing out on a fantastic, inspiration-filled hop today to say goodbye to the wonderful Paper Crafts & Scrapbooking Magazine. Head on back to Jennifer McGuire's blog to kick this thing off!

Geometric Thank You

I kept it simple, with just a geometric thank you card using (total funny: I thought I was being clever and using a new embossing folder I just got, that I couldn't wait to share because I knew other people would want to snap this fab folder up too.... turns out it was a freebie from Crafter's Companion during Birthday Week, and you can't get it any more! Oh well... I'll be using it all the time because I puffy {heart} it):

I am so glad I got the chance to meet the lovely Susan Opel a million years ago at CHA - it was my first trip away from home after having my son in the spring of the previous year. Unfortunately I left that CHA early to fly home, but not before she gave me some words of encouragement about submitting my work.... I listened, and was thrilled to get a card picked up the next time I tried!

I will really miss the great inspiration that is shared in this magazine every time it comes out - THANK YOU to the Go To Gals, the editorial team, and everyone who has worked so hard to share it with us!

Now hop on over to Jill's blog to see what fabulousness she has to share!

Your card is fab! Love your story about the embossing folder--doesn't it figure?! :) What fun to go to CHA--And such a big deal as your first time away from your son. :)
