Winter in Central Park

Winter in Central Park

I'm loving the newest release from Crafter's Companion US! The Art-Kure US Landmark collection just makes me happy - great images to color (or not color, like on this card!) that make really beautiful cards.

My supply list for this card is huge, but it really didn't take long to put it together! My large shimmery background is embossed with snowflakes. My sentiment is stamped with Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko Delicata Silver Shimmer ink - isn't it luscious?! I stamped the image in  Memento Tuxedo Black ink, then sprayed Fireworks sprays in London Fog and Bamboo Leaves, plus Gold and Silver Sheer Shimmer Spritz

After they dried, I die cut the image. Before removing it from the die I sponged Memento London Fog ink on the sky portion THEN went back with Summer Sky ink and sponged it on over die cut clouds, to create a cloudy sky (see a tutorial on how I do that here).

And see those fabulous die cut trees on a hill at the bottom of my image? Those are the new Scenic Pines die, from the Classiques Christmas collection that will be available at Crafter's Companion US later this week (and is available in the UK now). It's actually longer than it appears - I've cut it apart to make it fit on this specific image.

I finished it all off with a bit of May Arts ribbons!
