I'll Drink the Red

Welcome to a week of fantastic collaboration between IMAGINE Crafts and Magenta Rubber Stamps! Both companies are excited to share with you their products, from the latest inks from IMAGINE Crafts to the newest Fall and Holiday stamp releases from Magenta.

I'll Drink the Red

I'm really excited to share my project with you today! I love how it turned out; the sentiment is absolutely fabulous and the tress are so lush (I have a thing for tree stamps!)! Here's a look at how I put it together:

Step 1: Die cut the hills and place them on the image cardstock panel. Lightly draw a pencil outline above them to give an idea of where to stamp the tree images.

Step 2: Stamp the image once on cardstock using Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko Memento Cottage Ivy ink. Stamp it again on scrap paper (post it note) and create a mask. Place the mask over the stamped image and continue to stamp on cardstock.

Step 3: Placing the mask on one stamped image at a time, use an InkBlusher to sponge on Desert Sand ink and create a dark sky above the tree line,

Step 4: Again using an InkBlusher, sponge Memento LUXE Wedding Dress ink onto the die cut hills.

Step 5: Place the mask on the images again and spray irRESISTable colored texture spray (Wedding Dress) in the sky are. Remvoe the mask an spray once or twice over the trees, to create a snowfall effect.

Step 6: Stamp tress image again on separate cardstock and fussy cut. Use the Pico embellisher to place 'snow' on the trees. Allow to dry.

Step 7: Spray that fussy cut tree image with Sheer Shimmer Spritz in Frost. Spray the die cut hills with irRESISTable texture spray.

Step 8: Ink the sentiment in both Cottage Ivy and Rhubarb Stalk. After stamping, die cut as desired.

Step 9: Assemble card.
