I Believe in You

I Believe in You
I've got a fun tutorial over on the IMAGINE Crafts blog today! I got out a bunch of Memento inks, Fireworks! Sprays, a Dreamweaver Stencil & embossing paste, and Stampendous mica flakes and got super inky for this one. I finished it off with a butterfly die from Crafter's Companion and a stamp from Simon Says Stamp.

Many of you know of my love of auctions.... recently I got a whole crate of vintage books and there were a few duplicates. I decided that Anderson's Fairy Tales would be perfect to use for crafty pages! I'm a bibliophile.... it was hard to tear that page out of the book, even though it's the worse of the two copies! But you'll be seeing me use them more often, as I'm now addicted. A thin coating of embossing paste over the page gave it a really cool, almost leathery feel!

I'm playing along in this week's Simon Says Stamp challenge with this one too - it's all about making backgrounds. And be sure to stop by the IMAGINE Crafts blog for my complete supply list and to see how I put this together!
