Imagine the Possibilities Bookmark

Kn0wledge Bookmark

It's my daughter's first day of school today. If you didn't know, we moved the day after her last day of school this past May. Actually, we left that afternoon. So she's taking some big steps today... first day of fourth grade, first time riding the bus (she made the decision to not be a car rider this year), first day surrounded by all new people. I wanted to make her a little present to send her off - did you see this card I shared recently? If not, here it is:

Imagine the Possibilities

I also made her the bookmark I'm sharing today to go with it, based on the same color scheme (which I stole from this card I made forever ago!)

I colored the bookmark almost the same way I colored the books on that original card, with Spectrum Noir markers:

Grey books: BG2, BG4, BG6
Yellow books: GB4, GB6, GB7
Turquoise Green books: JG3, JG4, JG5
Pages: EB1, BG1, blender
Shading under books:  BG6, BG4, BG2 BG1, blender
bricks on tag: TN1 TN2, TN3, IG1 (outline)

Our "theme" for this school year is 'Imagine the Possibilities' - last year was tough for her, so our move to a new area represents a whole host of fabulous opportunities (for all of us). We're focusing on the positive, being encouraging, and looking forward to great things!!

I've played along in the Crafter's Companion challenge with both this card and the bookmark. The theme this month is school... and a bookmark works perfectly! Play along for your chance to win a £30/$30 voucher to Crafter's Companion UK or Crafter's Companion UShttp://a.pgtb.me/7bJW4d
