Watercolor Thank You

Thank You Watercolor

Ready for a new challenge with Lawnscaping Challenges? This week we're all about watercoloring! Not gonna lie....this made me nervous. I don't actually own any watercoloring goodies, so I opted to take a slightly different approach!

I unearthed some watercolor paper and a stencil from The Crafter's Workshop. On some leftover plastic packaging (from the new dies at Crafter's Companion) I scribbled a bit of ink with the chisel end of a Spectrum Noir marker. Working quickly before it dried, I used a watercolor brush pen to pick up some ink and lay it down over the stencil. I used five different inks: BT5, GT3, LG5, CG3, CT4.

It only took a minute, and then I double-stamped the sentiment using Memento Luxe in Tuxedo Black (so it'd have a bit of a shadow effect). I love the way it turned out, and will be creating lots of backgrounds like this!
