It has been two months exactly since I blogged - wow! I didn't mean to take such a long break, but moving, getting settled in, and unpacking some of my craft supplies was harder than I thought it would be! I still don't have everything in my craft room - a few things got left behind, but they will arrive in a couple of weeks! I'm hoping to get back into a good crafty routine by the end of the month.
I'm sharing a quick card I made for hubs for Father's Day. It's totally inspired by THIS stunning card my friend Jingle made (and don't for one second think I will not be copying that card of hers completely!). I wanted to change it up a bit to make it work for the card I had in mind for him, though.
I colored the gorgeous stamp from Crafter's Companion US with my Spectrum Noir blendable colored pencils:
Blues: 69. 70, 75, 73
Greens: 47, 58
Grays: 120, 119, 117, 112
Browns: 109, 110
Other: 001, 004
I shaded around the sentiment then finished the card with a bit of jute twine. CAS, just like hubs likes!
