I should have shared this card and matching envelope last Thursday - it's a quick tutorial for Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko. Thanks to the sickies, though, that just didn't happen! So I'm sharing it today instead. Better late then never, right?
Thanks to my sweet friend Mary Dawn Q, I got some of these fab Hero Arts pre-made card bases and matching envelopes for Christmas. HOW gorgeous is that color? I paired it with a small piece of DCWV cardstock that matched almost exactly, plus a teensy bit of silver as well.
My sentiment is from the Lizzie Anne Designs set designed exclusively for Simon Says Stamp called Chalkboard Love. I edged the card and envelope in Delicata Silvery Shimmer ink (and stamped the sentiment in that too). My Monterey Pine wooden heart is covered in Memento Luxe Love Letter ink (used for the hearts on the envelope as well).
An embossed background (Emossalicious 6x6 Lattice folder) put the tied the whole thing together - voila! A quick and easy, customized gift set of cards!
