Vintage Ornaments

Vintage Ornaments

I love Christmas ornaments, so when I spotted this Vintage Ornament set at Inky Antics I knew it had to be mine!  It also happens to be drawn by the talented Trudy Sjolander, who is so sweet!

Vintage Ornaments

After doing a bit of masking, I colored the ornaments with my Spectrum Noir markers:

Small round ornament: HB1, HB2, HB3, BG2, PL2, PL3, LV1, LV2, CR8
Larger rounded ornament: LG5, LG4, LG3, LG2, GB2, GB3, GB1, DR7, CR8, CR11
Long ornament: CR5, CR6, CR7, JG3, JG4, JG5, GB4, GB3, GB2

I then sprayed the image with several coats of Iridescent Spray & Sparkle from Crafter's Companion - LOVE how shimmery it makes the ornaments look! The rest of the card shimmers as well, thanks to the Centura Pearl card base and the DCWV silver layer (which is embossed with an Embossalicious 'Let it Snow' folder).

For step-by-step instructions on how I made this, check out this post over on the Inky Antics blog!

Those ornaments are spectacular! I love the frosted look - reminds me of my grandmother's ornaments.

Dad gum this is gorgeous. And that spray, that spray. Onto my wishlist that goes! Really makes your ornaments stand out even more!
