Some Odd Girls

Woodsy Mae

The Spectrum Noir team is coloring up fabulous images from Some Odd Girl Stamps all week long!  I'm fairly new to the Some Odd Girl scene, but I've been admiring other people's lovelies with these darling images for quite awhile.  I never could decided which bit of cuteness to start with - so I finally settled on Bookish Tia, colored this card, and now I'm completely addicted!

The first card I'm sharing today features Woodsy Mae.  I think she is absolutely perfect for Autumn, don't you? LOVE her!! I paired her with some woodsy-themed paper, twine, and bling.  My Spectrum Noir color list is:

Pants: TB7, TB5, TB4, TB3, TB2
Sweater: DR7, DR5, CR8, CR1, CR2
Skin: FS9, FS3, FS2, CR3
Hair: TN4, TN3, TN2
Eyes: EB3
Tree: GB10, GB8, EB3, EB5
Grass: DG2, DG3

Soccer Tia

I also could NOT resist getting this adorable Soccer Tia image.  My daughter is a giant soccer fan (and yes, my non-American friends, I am still stubbornly calling it soccer, lol!) and I know this image will be getting colored loads of times! On this card, I colored her with:

Shirt: CT4, CT2, CT1
Shorts: IB1, IB2
Hair: GB10, GB8, TN1
Skin: FS9, FS3, FS2, CR3
Soccer Ball: IG1, IG2, IG4, IG6, IG8

I made sure to add extra CR3 to her cheeks, for that flushed 'I've been out here for hours playing' look that my daughter has perfected!  I added a sentiment from an Avery Elle stamp set, Maya Road twine, and three small self-adhesive bits of bling to finish it off!

Be sure to stop by the Spectrum Noir Facebook page for an AMAZING chance to win some Ultimate Pen Storage and stamps from Some Odd Girl!
