It's time for the Crafter's Companion Makey Bakey Mice release here in the US! It's no secret that I am a giant fan of all things tea-related, so I could not resist coloring up this fabulous image from the Home Sweet Home stamp set, which is part of the Everyday collection.
Here's a list of the Spectrum Noir pens I used:
Teapot & Lid: IG1, IG2, IG4, blender, HB1, HB2
Poppies: GT1, GT2
Mouse: TN2, TN3, TN5
Ground: DG2, DG3, CT1
Sign: EB2, GB8, GB10
My card base was embossed with the Embossalicious 8x8 Grande Dots folder - I ran it through my eBosser. I am SO in love with that thing! It makes crafting so easy; I really don't know what I ever did without it. My poor Cuttlebug gets no love now!
I sponged some ink around the edges, added a bit of twine, a button, and a smidge of bling and considered this one done!
Have you played along in this month's Crafter's Companion challenge yet? Our theme is embossing, which this card totally has! Don't forget, you could not only win a store gift certificate, but you could also get the chance to be our guest designer for the rest of the year! See all the details here:
The sketch I used for this card was completely inspired by this card by Niki Estes, which I pinned to my Pinterest 'Paper Crafting Goodness' board forever ago. I've finally decided to start using the things I save for inspiration!
