Sending Love Your Way

I'm trying to figure out how on earth we've reached the first of April - that's 3 months gone from this year already!  And March flew by in a blur, seriously!  I sat down last week to make a few cards with my very limited crafty time, and inked up one of my favorite Lawn Fawn stamp sets, You've Got Mail. I stamped the postcard image onto patterned paper using Memento Rich Cocoa ink, and added shading around the edges with my Spectrum Noir markers.  I added the small stamp image in the top right corner, also with brown ink (and colored with my Speccies).

The air mail stamp was inked up with Versafine Toffee ink; the blue lines are inked up in Versafine Majestic Blue.  The tag I added is actually part of the Come Away With Me patterned paper collection I used on this - I just fussy cut it out, punched a hole in it, and added a bit of Hemptique twine (in natural and dark brown). Both the tag and the postcard are popped up on dimensional dots

As usual, I picked up all these lovelies at i {heart} papers, which leads me to an announcement:

I have loved every minute of being the Social Media Coordinator for i {heart} papers since last summer, when I started.  But I've gone back to work full-time time (at my dream job, doing what I lov!!), and sometimes there just are not enough hours in the day to do all of the things you love.  So the amazing Libby Hickson is stepping into that role, and I'm joining the Design Team as a regular member (because I really, really love ihp!).  I'm really excited that I get to continue working with Kate, and all of the talented ladies on the i {heart} papers team!

Supplies:
Stamps: You've Got Mail
Card Stock: Kraft (Bazzill)
Patterned Paper: Come Away With Me (My Mind's Eye)
Ink: Memento Rich Cocoa, Versafine Majestic Blue, Toffee
