It's no secret I have tons of love for the fabulous Sheena Douglass - her talent and creativity are amazing, and she's one of the nicest, most genuine people I've ever had the pleasure of chatting with! Today just so happens to be her birthday, so I wanted to make her a little something to wish her a VERY happy day!
I also used Core'dinations card stock available from Crafter's Companion UK - the card base is Tim Holtz Nostalgic and the brown layer is Core Essentials Neutrals. I used the Lace Border 2 die on the edge of that.
I used some fab Versafine and VersaMagic inks to created my scene - the Dew Drops are perfect for inking a stamp in multiple colors. I used the Spanish Moss and Mango Madness for the flowers - I stamped the background flowers off on scratch paper once prior to stamping on my Ultra Smooth White. The large butterfly is stamped using Memento Desert Sand and colored with my Spectrum Noir markers (CT2, CT4, GB5).
This card also work for this month's Spectrum Noir challenge, which is all about spring AND the Crafter's Companion challenge, which is all about flowers! Come play along with both of them!
