You Make Me Smile

I'm sharing my Theme project this month for Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko, and this month our theme is spring.  When I think of Spring I immediately think of flowers, so that's where I went with my card!

I got out the fabulous Sheena Douglass Flower Power stamp set (available at Crafter's Companion US and UK), because these flowers are HUGE.  Here's a look at how I put this card together:

You'll notice in my suplies picture above that I've got different patterned paper out than what actually ended up on my card.  That's because I made two versions of this card, and the first one was stolen from my craft table before I could get a picture of it!

I spritzed both Willow and Cornflower Walnut Ink all over a piece of white card stock and allowed it to dry.

I inked up the flower images with VersaFine Olympia Green ink and stamped both the large and small flower directly on to the card stock.  Then I fussy cut each one.

I assembled the card, adding a stamped sentiment from Sheena Douglass' From the Heart set (also available at Crafter's Companion US and UK) and three pieces of bling.  I adhered the flowers on foam tape, to add a little bit of depth to the card.

Supplies:
Stamps: From the Heart, Flower Power (Crafter's Companion)
Card Stock: Kraft (Bazzill); White (Crafter's Companion)
Patterned Paper: For the Record (Echo Park)
Ink: Versafine Olympia Green; Willow, Cornflower Walnut Ink (Tsukineko)
Accessories: Bling (Eyelet Outlet)
