The Perfect Gift

I played along with the current Spectrum Noir challenge this weekend, and made a quick card for my daughter.  The challenge is to add bling (or sparkles, pearls, or glitter) to your project - since that's something I do all the time, that's pretty perfect for me!

I colored this sweet little S.W.A.L.K. Perfect Gift stamp (also available from Crafter's Companion UK):

Coat: BT2, BT4, BT5; IG1. Blender
Boots/Scarf/Earmuffs: BP6, BP2, PP3, PP1
(plus IG1 on scarf and blender on earmuffs)
Hair: GB1, GB8, GB10
Skip: FS8, FS3, FS2
Puppy: BG1, BG2, Blender (CR3 for tongue, ears)

On her earmuffs, I used my blender pen to create dots, mimicking a furry texture.  I fussy cut the image, and used foam dots to adhere it to the card.  My bling is a bling strip from Eyelet Outlet.

The Bling challenge runs through Thursday - you still have time to play along for your chance to win some Spectrum Noir pens and a stamp of your own!

Supplies:
Stamps: Perfect Gift (Crafter's Companion)
Card Stock: Ultra Smooth White (Crafter's Companion); Kraft (Bazzill)
Patterned Paper: Holly Jolly (Echo Park)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black (Tsukineko)
Coloring Medium: Spectrum Noir
Accessories: Bling (Eyelet Outlet), Ribbon (Offray)
Tools: Spellbinders Nestabilities
Pin It
