Cheer Up Grumpasaurus

Finally - back to my Five Minute Friday cards!  Today's might have taken a little closer to ten minutes (partly because I was on the phone while I made it), but I'm still counting it, lol.   It was still a quickie :)  The second I saw this adorable Cuteasaurus set from Paper Smooches, I knew it had to be mine.  We love dinosaurs in our hours, and really - 'cheer up grumpasaurus'?   Could that be any sweeter?  Nope!

I inked up my dinosaur with Memento Tuxedo Black, stamped it on Ultra Smooth White card stock,  and colored him with my Spectrum Noir markers.  I went back in with my blender pen after coloring, and dotted it all over to give him a polka-dot effect.  It's really easy and fun to do!  I also added a fun eye brad for his eye.  I used Lawn Fawn's Dewey Decimal paper, as this card is for my daughter in her lunchbox (sometimes, morning are tough when you're 7, so this will be perfect to cheer her up during lunch at school).

I adhered my dino using dimensional dots onto a tag made from the new Scallop Tag die from Paper Smooches.  The bottom of the tag has two brads from the Dog Bones/Bowls mix - the stamp set has a little bone in it, so I figured they worked!  I finished off my tag with a bit of May Arts ribbon.

Don't forget - i {heart} papers is now carrying Spectrum Noir markers, and Ultra  Smooth card stock!  You can also pick up the stamps, die, paper, and bone brads I used while you're there!
