Christmas at the Beach

I make my mom's Christmas cards every year; it's fun because she pretty much lets me do whatever I want.  This year, because she lives at the beach, I thought a CAS beach theme would be fun!

The Stampendous block art beach scene is gorgeous, I think!  Plus, it works well for mass producing cards. I colored it with my Spectrum Noir markers (while hubby and I watched Love Actually for the first time this holiday seasons - love that movie!).  I hand cut around the not-straight block art border, than matted it onto black card stock.

I added a big holiday sentiment underneath the panel.  I love the way these turned out.  I sort of wish they were mine (but I don't live at the beach, so it wouldn't make as much sense!)

This is beautiful! Reminds me of Jimmy Buffet's song, 'Christmas in the Caribbean."

What a marvelous idea for a Christmas card. Opened up a whole new concept for me as a transplant to FL. Thanks.

This is gorgeous! How about you make the same ones for you and we can just meet you guys at the beach for Christmas just so your cards will make sense. Sounds like a plan to me! ;)
