Yellow Butterfly

Here's a look at how I made this springy card:
  • Cut card base to size; cut two smaller mats from dark brown and kraft card stock
  • Stamp bicycle background on kraft panel, add ink with a sponge to edges
  • Stamp silhouette leaf sprig directly over bicycle background; using glue pen dot glue in desired areas and add glass glitter
  • On separate card stock, stamp butterfly image twice, color as desired; using glue pen add glitter where desired. Fussy cut.
  • Using foam tape or other dimensional adhesive, stack butterfly images on top of each other. Adhere all pieces to card stock base (foam tape for butterfly)
Supplies:
Stamps: Bicycle Background, Leaf Sprig,  Single Butterfly (Stampendous)
Essentials: Fresh Green Glass Glitter, Crystal Ultrafine Glitter (Stampendous)
Ink: Memento Bamboo Leaves, Rich Cocoa (Tsukineko); Brushed Corduroy (Ranger)
Card Stock: Pollen, Kraft (Bazzill); Brown/Copper (from previous box)
Coloring Medium: Spectrum Noir
Pin It
