Angel Kiddo

All week long the Stampendous team and the team over at May Arts Ribbon have been sharing great projects.  Today we're wrapping up our week of fun with a blog hop!  And since it is World Card Making Day, I've combined all sorts of fun challenges to create this sweet card :)

I used the sketch from i {heart} papers as my jumping off point.  I colored up Angel Kiddo with my Spectrum Noir markers (because the challenge over at Spectrum Noir this month is holiday cards!).  I used the following markers to coordinate her with the yummy This & That Echo Park paper:

Dress: DG1, DG2 DG3, DG4, CT3, GB5, DR4, DR7, BG1, BG2, BG3
Hair/Bear: EB1, EB2, GB8
Crown: CT2, CT4, GB5, DR4, DR7, BG1
Wings: BG1, BG2, BG3
Skin: FS9, FS4, FS3 (cheeks/lips CR3)
Eyes: DG2

I added some Shaved Ice along the edges of my triangle panel, for sparkle.  My sentiment is stamped on a banner , and I added a little more bling next to it (really, can you have enough bling?)  To finish off my card, I used a bit of the versatile Twisted Burlap ribbon.

All of the elements on my card come together to give me Bingo....from this weekend's Designed to Color challenge!

Make sure you hop along to these blogs, to see what fabby prizes you could win!!!

And check out i {heart} papers blog to see their WCMD challenges (with more prizes!), the Designed to Color challenge (with more prizes!), and the Spectrum Noir challenge (with even MORE prizes!).

How are YOU celebrating World Card Making Day?  i {heart} papers is doing it with 2 chances to win a gift certificate and a 20% off storewide coupon code.  Use code WCMD2012TW through Tuesday 10/9 for 20% off EVERYTHING in the store (including the stamps, paper, accessories, and ribbon I used on my card today!).  And, yes, you still qualify for free US shipping with your order of $60 or more. Check out the blog for more details on the challenges.  Happy Shopping!

I like the use of triangle panels in the background, and the swirly bling adds interest and ties the two bottom panels together. One more card for my idea file. Thanks!
