5 Minute Friday: Snowy Postcard

This week the Stampendous team has joined up with the fabulous team over at May Arts Ribbon to bring you some great projects. It's 5 Minute Friday again on my blog, so my project today is pretty simple...but it packs a big punch, I think! I stuck with the holiday color scheme, like the card I shared earlier this week.

I stamped the Snowy Postcard image in Memento Cottage Ivy ink.  I used a glue pen to add Cottonball White Fun Flock to the rooftops and ground where snow would be; I added Shaved Ice around the oval frame.

I tied Satin Reversible Red & Green ribbon around the bottom of the card, just above some red pom pom trim (adhered with i {stick} papers tape).  You can pick up all of these fabulous Stampendous and May Arts lovelies over at i {heart} papers!

How are YOU celebrating World Card Making Day?  i {heart} papers is doing it with 2 chances to win a gift certificate and a 20% off storewide coupon code.  Use code WCMD2012TW through Tuesday 10/9 for 20% off EVERYTHING in the store.  And, yes, you still qualify for free US shipping with your order of $60 or more. Check out the blog for more details on the challenges.  Happy Shopping!

Beautiful. I bought this stamp from Kate at I heart Papers for the business Christmas cards because the possibilities for it were endless and I love how you did this.

The flock and the Shaved Ice were a nice touch. I'm a very textual person and also like the feel of cards. Very nice.
