Holiday Wobbles!

The Stampendous crew is wrapping up our week of wobbly fun with the team over at Action Wobbles.   What better way to end the festivities than a blog hop?  My first card uses the Snow Bird stamp paired with the fantastically amazing Christmas Background (both are available over at i {heart} papers - and so are the action wobbles!).

I stamped the background onto the Kraft card stock in Distress Ink (I also used that to sponge the edges), and then used darker Memento Rich Cocoa ink to stamp the bird image. After I colored the branch and berries with my Spectrum Noir markers, I added Shabby White Embossing Enamel with a Versamark pen, and heat set it from underneath.  See how it looks like snow?!  I went back and psrinked it on the card randomly, and then heat set that too, for a snowfall-like scene :)

Ok, now don't laugh.  I have never made a video before, but I wanted to show you how the birdie wobbles.  I had to trim down the wobble itself, so it doesn't move as much as intended.  I colored the bird on a separate piece of white card stock and than adhered it to the wobble.  Also....don't mind my Elmo band-aid, or the shaky part (that was my toddler, hanging off my arm and begging to wobble the bird).  I used my new iPhone for this!

This is actually a remake of a card I made last December.  I loved the color scheme so much, and I thought it would be perfect for wobbling!  I colored the snowman with my Spectrum Noir markers, and added loads of Stampendous' Shaved Ice (also available at i {heart} papers) for a snow effect.  It's on the bottom panel as well as the wobbling panel, so that when it's wobbling you see double the glitz.

Here's an "action" shot of the sign wobbling.  You can also see the glitter I added to the snowflakes, and get a better look at the Silver Crushed Glass Glitter on the poof at the top of his hat.

Stampendous is giving away several prizes today! One lucky winner will receive 6 Action Wobbles Springs and the adorable CRV265 Cling Hula Kiddo shown below:

A second winner will receive 6 Action Wobbles Springs and CRW076 Tree Trim Kiddos (because we want to see that top Kiddo wobbling with that star!).

How can you win?  Comment on the blogs below!  At the end of the weekend (yes, you have until Sunday night) Stampendous will choose two of the blogs below at random.  They will then choose a random winner and we'll notify you here!  Here's the whole wobbly party train:

Missed the beginning of our week of wobbles?  Check them all out over on the Stampendous Impressions blog.  Have fun wobbling!

And one last thing....a winner from my Snowglobe Wobbles post on Thursday!  Stampendous generously allowed me to give away the Snowglobe Kiddo set I used to one lucky commenter....Cheryl Hutcherson!  use the "Email Me" link in my left sidebar to send me your contact info, and I'll pass it on to the shipping elves at Stampendous!

Both your cards are fabulous. I have a thing for snowmen so that card is absolutely my favorite. But I like what you did with the bird. It shows us that the wobbler is just isn't for cute images only. Thanks for all the inspiration.

Your snowman card is cool with the shaved ice glistening and the soft colors, but the bird in the snow is phenomenal! It looks like a very real dusting of snow is falling.
