Box of Crayons

It's Design Team Challenge day with my fabulous teammates over at Gourmet Rubber Stamps!  This month we were challenged to incorporate shapes into our project - either by making a shaped card or a regular card with shapes on it.  I really wanted to make something for my daughter, so the fabulously talented Adela Rossol of Creations by AR hooked me up with this Crayon Box & Card set template; it has both a crayon box AND a shaped card that fits inside!

I used the great True Colors stamp set and the Life & Crayons sentiment on the front of my crayon box.  The stamp set has a great sentiment in it, but I thought this one worked better on a project for my 7 year old :) Technically, I'm pretty sure the flap should be in the back.  But my kids (who are crayon aficionados) assured me that it would be ok to do it this way - and doesn't it look more fun in the picture, lol?!

You can get the perfectly coordinating School Daze patterned paper (it's sold out, but more is on the way!), the True Colors stamp set and the separate Life &Crayons sentiment, as well as the Memento ink I used over at i {heart} papers

And be sure to check out my teammates' blogs to see what they came up with for our challenge this month:

Have an excellent weekend!
