Frog in the Rain

HOW cute is this frog? I literally squealed out loud when I saw this entire Anthony & Burt collection at Crafter's Companion.  I was inspired to color this guy using my Spectrum Noir markers after I saw the talented Stephanie Lee color this one over on her blog.  I modified her technique a smidge - you can see exactly how I did it over on the Spectrum Noir blog today!

Here is a closer look at the markers I used:

Greens: CG2, CG3, CG4, DG3
Greys: BG4, BG2, BG1, IG3, IG2, IG1
Blues: BT4, BT2, BT1
Browns: EB8, EB3, EB2, EB1

My Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps dies were the perfect accent to this stamp.  I love that the scalloped border mimics the sand, and the fence and grass look so cute underneath the frog!  And the clouds....well you just have to have them on a rainy day, right?

Supplies:
Stamps: Let a Smile Be Your Umbrella (Crafter's Companion)
Card Stock: Black (Recollections); White (Crafter's Companion Ultra Smooth)
Patterned Paper: Victoria Park (Lily Bee)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black (Tsukineko)
Coloring Medium: Spectrum Noir
Tools:Grass, Fence, Clouds, and Scalloped Border Die (Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps)
