Christmas in July at Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps

Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps is celebrating Christmas in July!  I'm sharing two amazing cards today, using two of the four sets available for a very limited time (and then not again until their official release this fall...keep reading for more details).  The first card, above, showcases the new Vintage Ornaments set.  Truly, it makes me swoon.  I typically make my holiday cards very simple, because I make so many of them (to keep postage and materials costs down).  I stuck with that idea for this card - each ornament is inked in Versamark and then I applied different colors of chalk to each one.  I added some sponging around the edges.

My next card is from an amazing set called Holiday Baubles; it is a 6" x 8" set absolutely full of darling little holiday images.  Stockings, ornaments, lights, sentiments...you name it, it's in there!  And strings of lights and bows, too!  I embossed each of the stockings (true confession: see how there is a bit of blue on the two green stockings? That was a total goof. But I liked the way it turned out, so I'm pretending I meant for it to happen!), fussy cut them, and adhered them to the image panel on foam tape.

Lots of great things are happening at Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps during these pre-holiday festivities!  ALL Christmas clear stamps are 20% off through Wednesday, July 25Three new holiday sets are in stock early, for a fun pre-release, and they you can get them before they are released in September and October... if you buy them now, you can take advantage of the sale price!

Every order of $25 in Christmas clear stamps will receive Gingerbread Man, a darling new 2" x 2" mini clear set.  And as always, all clear stamp orders of $50 or more get this month's free w/ stamp set, Christmas Candle (while supplies last).

Wow, love the vintage card. Cool, I forget about using versamark & chalk, my chalk set is buried somewhere in my room... Cute stocking card, festive with all the papers. I like the blue on the green stockings :)

The vintage ornaments card? So fabulous! Prettiest card I think I've ever seen. That stamp set is a must have! I've never heard of using chalk over the versamark. Can't wait to try this technique! Thanks for sharing.
