Great to "Sea" You!

I decided to make a card for no particular reason, and play along with the sketch challenge over at There She Goes.  I inked up this darling mermaid from the Make a Splash set, and colored her with my Spectrum Noir markers.  I added a cute little starfish embellishment I got forever ago - I almost forgot I had them!

Here's a breakdown of the markers I used on this card:

Body/Tail: TN3, TN2, CR2, CR1 (belt: JG2, JG1)
Skin: FS9, FS4, FS3 (cheeks: CR3)
Hair: GB8, EB2, EB1
Flower: GB5, CT4, CT1
Water: BG1, DG1

I purposely tried to make her tail section look a little mottled, almost reminiscent of scales.  And I love that pop of green for her belt!

Supplies:
Stamps: Make a Splash (There She Goes)
Card Stock: Kraft (Bazzill)
Patterned Paper: Salt Air (Cosmo Cricket)
Ink: Tuxedo Black (Memento)
Coloring Medium: Spectrum Noir
Accessories: Ribbon (May Arts); Starfish Embellie (Unknown)
Tools: Classic and Lacey Circles Nestabilities (Spellbinders)
