Birthday Bowling

It's my turn to host the Weekly Recipe sketch challenge over on the Gourmet Rubber Stamps blog; this week I used the sketch to make a birthday card for my daughter's classmate.  He had a bowling party, so the Kingpin set was perfect to go with that theme!  My daughter was very clear about the sentiment though...she said it had to be "plain" (meaning the "You Bowl Me Over" was WAY too much!).  So I opted for the great sentiment included in the Cupcakes and Candles set instead!

I once again used Echo Park's Dots & Stripes paper collections - they are just so perfect.  I also used my favorite inks from Tsukineko - Memento Tuxedo Black and London Fog.  Seriously, I don't know what I'd do without them.

Don't forget, all the patterned paper over at i {heart} papers is still on sale!  While you're there, be sure to check out their extensive selection of Gourmet Rubber Stamps.  And I heard a fun secret.....i {heart} papers is going to be carrying some Gourmet Rubber Stamps sets designed exclusively for them!  I think details *might* just be shared on Sunday, so stay tuned!

Card Stock: Bashful Blue (SU); Black (Recollections); White (Neenah)
