Baroque Bouquet

I have such a fun project to share with you today - I am really excited about it!  Did you know that this week, the Stampendous team has been collaborating with the team over at Clear Scraps to create some amazing projects?  It's finally my day to share the card I made!

I colored up the Baroque Bouquet cling jumbo stamp (if you're interested in a step-by-step coloring tutorial, I'm blogging about that over on the Spectrum Noir blog today!) and paired it with the Scalloped Send It Clear card base.

To maximize the coolness of having a clear card base, I got out some Stazon Opaque Soft Lilac ink for the scalloped sides; the lovely folks over at Tsukineko were kind enough to hook me up with some goodies, and I am eternally grateful! I also used the Encore Gold ink for stamping the large gold border on the inside of my card. and my image itself is stamped in my all-time favorite, go-to ink....Memento Tuxedo Black

I also created a belly band for my card.  I really wanted to add some Fran•táge texture to the card; I started by spritzing some of Tsukineko's Silver Sheer Shimmer Spritz (say that three times fast) on the white card stock.  Then I added some Shabby White Embossing Enamel and heated it from underneath.  I finished off the belly band by adding some soon-to-be-released (look for it in the next few weeks at your local craft store, and on the website in late July or early August) Purple Color Fragments (you can see the other, currently available colors on the Stampendous site).

Here's a look at what the inside of the card looks like - isn't that Opaque Lilac ink gorgeous?  It really shows off the Romantic Border cling jumbo stamp well!  The large border stamped in gold ink is the other stamp in that set - they make a lovely pair!

Several of my Stampendous teammates as well as a few of the ladies on the Clear Scraps team also have great projects to share today.  Check out these blogs:
