April Release Blog Hop

Woohoo!  It's time for the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps April New Release Celebration!  I'm so excited to be kicking things off today, along with the rest of the Design Divas, with a fun blog hop full of inspiration.  All of the sets you'll be seeing today will be available for purchase in the store tonight.  Ready to get started?

The first card I'm sharing is a CAS one with the gorgeous new Graceful Calla Lily set, designed by Dina Kowal.  I'll admit, when I casually mentioned that Calla Lilies were my fab flower (and totally begged someone to draw me one!) I had NO idea Dina would dream up something this stunning!  The main image is fussy cut, and then adhered to a die cut oval.  I let the image do all the work on this card - I think it's perfect for sympathy, a get-well card,  an elegant thinking-of-you card, or just about any other occasion I might need this one for!

My second card today features the new Special Boy Cocoa set.  I am so in love with this adorable new addition to the Cocoa family!  My little guy has a deep love of trains, so this will be seeing lots of ink!  Today I paper pieced the locomotive, fussy cut him to pop him up on foam tape, and added hand stitching to two sides of the panel.  It's perfect paired with some travel themed patterned paper.

Did you see the card I shared yesterday, for Korin's surprise early birthday hop?  I used the adorable Bee Happy Rhubarb set...and if you leave a comment on it you could win a stamp set of your choice!

For even more eye candy, here's the full list of Design Divas (and our special April Guest) sharing their creativity with you today:

Make plans to join us tonight over in our member company forums on Splitcoaststampers for our New Release Party!  We'll have full reveals of each fabulous stamp set, fellowship and chatter with friends, fun challenges, and more!  Also.....did you know today is Korin's birthday?!  Isn't that fun?  To celebrate, Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps will be giving away a $34 gift certificate to the store.  l you have to do is leave Korin some birthday wishes over on this photo on the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Facebook page
