Floral Bonnet Baby

I decided to take a few days to be crafty for no reason - no design work, no specific recipients in mind....just play time.  Yesterday I played along with the Inspiration Challenge over on Splitcoaststampers,  and chose this pretty cake to inspire my card.  I liked the warm feeling of the photograph, and the sweet little birds.

I inked up the cling rubber Floral Bonnet Baby stamp and colored her with Copics.  I added a sentiment from the Ranunculus clear stamp set - I love that font.  Some pretty flowers and ribbon finished the card off!

ETA: I wrote and scheduled this post ahead of time, and was thrilled to find out when I wok up this morning that this card made the favorites list over at Splitcoaststampers. What a way to start the week!

Why do I hear Judy Garland singing, "In My Easter Bonnet, with all the frills upon it..."? Darling card! Love all the details!
