Today is the one year birthday celebration over at Desert Island Crafter's Challenge - wow! To celebrate, we have a birthday-themed itinerary, as well as a few prizes to give away, so be sure to head over and check out all the details.
I used the brand new Cowlik Birthday clear stamp set from Stampendous to make my card, and combined it with the sketch challenge for today over at Splitcoaststampers (hosted by the fabulous Korin this week). From the DICC itinerary, I used items #1 (birthday theme), #6 (confetti - it is on the cupcake), #7 (birthday sentiment), #9 (cupcake), and #10 (bright colors).
It is hard to tell in this picture, but I used the light blue form the cupcake icing to color over the sentiment as well. I also made a quick mask of the little wagon (seriously - my craft knife made what seemed like a daunting task super easy!) to then stamp the cupcake in it - they are all separate stamps (Cowlik on the tractor, the wagon, and the cupcake). Check out the whole set below:
Isn't it adorable? I cannot help but smile when I look at him! Hope you get a chance to play along with both our challenge over at Desert Island Crafter's AND the sketch at SCS this week!
