I whipped up a couple of quick cards for my husband last week (and I am sharing them today, hoping he won't see them on a Sunday!) using the great Heart 2 Heart stamp set by Lizzie Anne Designs (and available at Gourmet Rubber Stamps). Both are pretty CAS, because he is that kind of guy - no frills on cards for him! The card above is for our upcoming fourteen year anniversary. Not of our wedding, but of our first date....awwwww! I love that I can stamp the heart with wings image, and then go back and add the solid heart in any color I want.
My second card is for Valentine's Day - I lined up the three separate images on a block and stamped them on the card stock. I think this card took maybe eight minutes to make, lol. But it is perfect for him!
And finally, here are the bookmarks I mentioned in my recent post about the valentines for my daughter's classmates. We are not giving out candy this year - it's bookmarks for the little ones instead! These were very simple to make. I cut out each shape with my Nesties, stamped the hearts, ran the white panel through the Cuttlebug to emboss it, glued everything together, and tied on the twine. So simple!
