Hope You Can Cling To: Paper Rose

My fabby friend Victoria hosted a Hope You Can Cling to Challenge over on Splitcoaststampers yesterday, and asked me to make a sample.  The challenge was to make a card having only paper elements - get it? HOPE!!!

I used the gorgeous Cling Jumbo Rose from Stampendous for my card, and just made a punched border for an accent. The flower is stamped three times, cut out in layers, and popped up on dimensionals.  Each layer is sponged with pink ink.

Are you playing along with the Hope You Can Cling to Challenges? You should be!! You should go read all about the details here, see a master list of challenges so far, and check out the prizes too.

Supplies:
Stamps: Cling Jumbo Rose (Stampendous)
Card Stock: Very Vanilla (SU), White (Neenah)
Patterned Paper: Basic Grey
Ink: Close to Cocoa, Pretty in Pink (SU)
Tools: Martha Stewart double edge punch

This is just beautiful. What a terrific job you've done with the Jumbo Rose. It's so great for layering this way...and stamped on patterned paper it rocks! Great job, Taylor!!!
