Unconditional Love

Well, it's Monday!  And it's the first of the month, which means I can share some exciting news with you.  I'm thrilled to finally spill the beans on my little secret...I'm the August Artist of the Month over at Our Craft Lounge!

To celebrate, today I'm sharing a card using their last sketch challenge for July.  I combined it with the fun itinerary over at the Desert Island Crafters challenge this week.  I managed to use four things from the list - stitching (it's on the ribbon - I cheated a smidge), give it life (my wolf), make it pop up (my smaller set of nesties are popped up), and using three shapes (rectangles, ovals, and circles).

This is a congrats card I made for a dear friend of mine, who just landed the job she wanted!  I made this one for several reasons.  She and I have an ongoing debate about wolves (specifically, ONE wolf) and to whom it belongs.  I chose this sentiment (instead of this one, which I used the last time I made her a wolf card) because she's such a good friend, who loves me unconditionally just as I am. Hopefully, she knows that is a mutual thing!!

Don't forget about my weekly blog candy! See the Stampendous Saturday post for all the details :)
