The Tooth Fairy

I'm so excited about the Prettie Hop today, because I finally get to show you the sweet little set I created for my daughter!  I used the newly released Tooth Fairy Krista set (available now!) to create the little box I shared earlier this week, and a notebook to go with it.  And not only are we hopping, but since it's Wednesday it's our regular challenge day too.  This week we were all challenged to use die cuts on our cards or projects - no problem!

The notebook is just a plain memo pad. I took the spiral out of the top and added the patterned paper I wanted, punched new holes in it with my Crop-a-Dile, and re-threaded the coils. I colored Krista and put popped her up with large pop dots, on top of the Nesties (see how I worked the challenge in there, lol).  It's hard to tell in the picture, but her wings are colored with a Spica glitter pen.  I made my daughter a notebook to serve two purposes: one, so she could have a place to record the dates she loses her teeth, and whatever else she wants to about it (sort of like a tooth diary - the first time the Tooth Fairy came my daughter was SO excited to see the glitter trail she left behind, and to receive the note the Tooth Fairy left  her), and two, so that she could have small paper to write a note to the Tooth Fairy on (my daughter said fairies need notes on small paper!!).

And here is the box I shared the other day.  I covered a chipboard box I purchased at Michael's with coordinating patterned paper, and adhered a ribbon to the bottom of the box. When it is untied, there is a little pillow in there for her tooth, and then we'll tie it back up for the Tooth Fairy!

Be sure to hop along to to all of the Prettie blogs, to see what cuteness they've whipped up! Here's the whole Prettie train:
