Birthday Pea-Nut

This is my second post today. Don't miss my On the Farm challenge card with Paper and Such!

Time for more fun with Our Craft Lounge and May Arts!  Today I inked up Lil' Pea-Nut to make a fun birthday card, and paired her with some gorgeous sheer tinsel edge ribbon in pink.  I adore the elephant holding on to those balloons, and the ribbon just gives it a fun feeling (I think!).

Pea-nut is colored with Copics, cut out, and popped up on foam tape, as are the balloons. I sponged the oval panel with both pink ink and a bit of light brown.  I used an edge punch across the bottom of the card front, to echo the polka dots in the patterned paper.

Now, head over to the Our Craft Lounge blog to see the other amazing inspiration the designers are sharing today, and to see details about how you can enter to win a fabulous prize!

Don't forget about my weekly blog candy! Check the Stampendous Saturday blog post for details.
