Peacock Feathers

I'm totally thrilled to have a card in the new issue of Stamp it Volume 8, from Paper Crafts Magazine. Every card in the issue is a total stunner!  One in particular really struck me - a cover card that was so beautiful in its clean-and-simpleness.  Cristina Kowalczyk rocked my world with her card using just peacock feather and a sentiment - no embellies, no frills, no nothing.  Absolute perfection.  I went straight to my stash and pulled out my Stampendous goodies to see how I could CASE her card.  The cling rubber Peacock Feather stamp was perfect, especially when paired with a sentiment from the Agapanthus Thank You Perfectly Clear set!

To go along with the Vintage Cameo card I made my mother-in-law as a congrats for her retirement, I also made her a twelve card set of these peacock feather cards.  I used two different color combos - brown and green or gray and blue. Some are vertical and some are horizontal, and all have matching envelopes.  I left off the bling on mine, because I love that the feather center is sort of heart shaped.

Have you checked out the magazine issue yet? You can see Cristina's gorgeous card on the cover. If you don't have a copy, run and get one today!

Supplies:
Stamps: Peacock Feather, Agapanthus Thank You (Stampendous)
