Orange Butterfly

I played along in a recent Skipping Stones Design sketch challenge (too late to add my link to the collection), and loved the results!  Their sketch artist for July was the fabulous Kim Kesti, and I instantly fell in love with this particular sketch she drew.

I used the lovely Healing Wings set, and kept the card pretty CAS.  My twine is from The Twinery - it's the Lemondrop color.  A bit lighter than my orange card stock, but I like the contrast.  I also used the Charcoal twine.  My butterfly is colored with Copics.  The middle one is popped up on a dimensional, and I curled the wings for all three of them.

Don't forget about my weekly blog candy! See the Stampendous Saturday post for all the details :)

Card Stock: SU Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black; Neenah White

I am a painter. I make cards too if you'd ever like to swap one just for fun. I LOVE this one. The message is wonderful, the colors, the design etc. Thank you for sharing. My cards are not 3-D. They are prints of things I have created. Let me know if you want to swap.
