Little Book of Love

Continuing my fun projects this week using wonderful Stampendous products paired with some May Arts ribbon.  Today's project came about while working on a Craft Critique article about the Vagabond and making a gift for my husband for Father's Day.

I used the Cling Rose Heart to dress up the front of the small book I made.  I stamped the image, colored it with Copics, and sponged the whole things to give it a softer feel.  The chipboard coasters were run through my Vagabond using a Tim Holtz Alterations folder (as were the pages inside, also from chipboard coasters).  I punched holes in all of it with my crop-a-dile, set the jumbo eyelets, and tied ribbon around the rings.  The brown striped ribbon and the antique gold velvet were perfect for this album - not too girlie, gave it some good texture, and dressed it up a bit.

Inside this book my daughter and I made a list on each page.  They were full of reasons why we loved my husband (or in her case, her daddy).  She also made a list for why her little brother loved him, and why I should love him, lol.

Until Saturday you can head over to Craft Critique and leave a comment on my Vagabond article for a chance to win  your very own Big Shot or eClips machine!  And don't forget, Stampendous is giving away goodness this week as well; all the deets are in this post.  My teammate Lynn has Stampendous candy this week as well.  And I'll have some on Saturday, so stay tuned!
