Dress Forms

Ready for more May Arts fun with Stampendous?  This afternoon I'm showing off another one of the fun cards I made with the gorgeous May Arts ribbon and some fabby new Stampendous stamps.  They'll be available for purchase in the next week or so!  On this card, I added a border to two edges using a decorative stamp from Elegant Borders, a new Perfectly Clear set, and I paper pieced my vintage dressforms (a new cling rubber stamp, Shirtwaists).  It's hard to tell in this picture (if you click on the pic it should make it bigger and easier to see) but I use the tiny images from the new Eiffel Tower Perfect Clear set to add some interest around the Shirtwaists stamp.  I stamped them very lightly, in no particular pattern.

To complete the vintage feel I added lots of sponging, and the same ribbon treatment I showed you on yesterday's Vintage Cameo card.  More correctly, since I made this card first, I copied it when I made the one I showed yesterday, I guess!  The difference is that on this card, I added a nice brown pearl to the piece of antique gold brooch.

Be sure to head over to the Stampendous blog to see the great inspiration they're showing off this week - all of the deisgners have made beautiful projects using May Arts ribbon.  I'm excited that they have a fun one of mine up today (I'll be showing him of tomorrow!).  While you are there, be sure to check out how you can win some great prizes from them.

Stamps: Eiffel Tower - SSC1121, Shirtwaists - CRW063, Elegant Borders - SSC1122
Card Stock: Bazzill Butter, Honey, Saltillo
