Celebrate Summer...With a Blog Hop!

I thought it would be fun to celebrate summer and kick off the 4th of July weekend with a blog hop, so I talked some wonderfully talented ladies into joining me. I figured a few people would have time for a hop....I was off slightly! There are over 25 amazing stops along the way today - wow!

I whipped up two cards for this hop since it has a dual theme - Summertime and the 4th of July. My fist card is all about celebrating summer (I'm sure you guessed that, lol). I went with a red, white, and blue color scheme, and stuck with a CAS card. I colored the background of this cute Stampendous image (from the Summer Cuties Perfectly Clear set) using the pointilism technique. I've done it before, and I shamelessly stole the idea from my friend and teammate Wendy Price.

My second card uses the same color scheme, but I took this Stampendous image (from the Aaaahsome Fireworks Perfectly Clear set - how cute is that name??) in a whole different direction. I love these block-art style images. Aren't the kids adorable? I'm giving this one to my daughter for the 4th of July, along with a package of sparklers. She'll be thrilled!

Here is the complete list of hoppers (but before you hop off, read down a bit further to see what prizes are up for grabs!):

Taylor (you are here!)

Wow - can you BELIEVE all of that goodness?  Now, check out the loot up for grabs that could be yours:

The more you comment, the more chances you have to win! Don't forget: You will have until Tuesday, July 5th at 6:00 PM EST to get through this amazing list of talent and creativity. I will draw comments from random blogs (all using random.org) for the 13 prizes from our generous sponsors. A full list of winners will be posted here on Friday!

And a HUGE HGE HUGE thank you to everyone who is participating today, and all of the amazing companies who donated fabulous prizes for us! Can't you just FEEL all the summertime and 4th of July happiness??

Happy hopping!
