Swirly Bird Nest

This is my second post today. Don't miss my sweet little tiffany purse, made with a sneak peek image from Paper Pretties!

It's sketch challenge Tuesday over at Christian Paper Crafts, and this is my sample for it. I used the gorgeous Swirly Bird Nest cling rubber stamp from Stampendous....it's so pretty, isn't it? I love the flourishes and the script below it.

I paired the image with some Basic Grey Periphery patterned paper and some great Bazzill card stock I've had in my stash forever. So long, in fact, that I cannot remember exactly what color it is!

It's hard to tell in the picture (oops) but I used some chalk, applied with my finger, to give the bird a very subtle blue-grey color. Since I don't have any actual crafty chalk, I just used my daughter's sidewalk chalk by Crayola - it works perfectly!

You can see the sketch and how to play along over on the Christian Paper Crafts blog!
