Love Brings Joy

Here's a card I made recently for a weekly tip I share over at the Sweet 'n Sassy Connection. Are you a member yet? Each week I share a project with a fun design idea, tip or technique; additionally I share some quick tips for getting the most out of your stamps on other days.

The tip for this project was to let the sentiment do the talking, and be the focus of your card. You don't always have to get out an image, or your markers!

Supplies:
Stamps: Love Sentiments (SNSS)
Card Stock: Always Artichoke, Groovy Guava, Prismatics Cream
Patterned Paper: Basic Grey Curio
Ink: Tim Holtz Antique Linen, Brushed Corduroy, Walnut Stain
Accessories: ribbon
Tools: Spellbinders Nestabilities, Martha Stewart edge punch

EXCELLENT tip! Your card is completely gorgeous and I can't say enough about the colors, the DP, the border punch and background CS. Beautiful artwork. TFS :)

Wonderful sentiment. Love that background paper...looks like "barkcloth" from the 30's and 40's.
