Hi Sweetie!

Today I'm sharing one of the cards I made recently for Stampendous - I adore this little chickie and the sweet sentiment! And the combination of gray and yellow with a dash of pink thrown in really make me happy. Here are all the details about the card:

Supplies: Stamps: Balloon Chick, Hi Sweetie (Stampendous - wood mounted rubber stamps)
Card Stock: White (Prismatics), White (Papertrey Ink), Basic Gray (Stampin' Up)
Patterned Paper: Togetherness (Cosmo Cricket)
Ink: Tuxedo Black (Memento)
Coloring Medium: Copics
Tools: Long Classic & Scalloped Rectangles Nestabilities (Spellbinders)
Fibers and Embellishments: White Satin Ribbon (Michael's), Pink Button (Cosmo Cricket), Blossom twine (The Twinery)

1. Make card base from card stock
2. Trim gray cardstock 1/8" smaller than base, and patterned paper 1/8" smaller than that. Adhere together.
3. Trim accent piece of gray cardstock to 2 3/8" wide x 5 3/8" long; trim accent piece of patterned paper to 2 1/8" wide and 5 3/8" long. Adhere together.
4. Die cut long rectangles and scalloped mats using Nestabilities; adhere together (white cardstock on gray). Stamp sentiment on smaller piece.
5. Stamp "Balloon Chick" three times on large long rectangle. Color as desired. Adhere both stamp and sentiment to card base.
6. Tie white ribbon in knot around card front, tie pink button on top of knot using twine.
