Bethany Goes Pink

I sat down to color this darling Reading Bethany digi image from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps, and my daughter asked me why she couldn't be pink. I didn't have a good reason, so I figured, "Why not?" It was a dreary, rainy day, and what better way to bring in the sunshine and joy than with some pretty springtime colors?

The card sketch itself is very simple. I wanted all of the focus to be on sweet Bethany. She's colored with Copics (see supply list below), and I printed out a digi sentiment to go with her. It's hard to tell in the picture, but her nose and the wing of the bird are outlined with a Spica glitter pen (pink for her nose, green for the bird's wing). A bit of bling (all pink bunnies need bling, my daughter also informed me) and some pink crocheted trim completed this sweet springtime card!
