Would You Like a Cupcake?

I am positively over the moon about this card! I adore the colors, the stamp, the papers, and the fabby jumbo button I made with my new i-top tool. I really could not be happier with it! The Patty Love set is part of the brand new release from InStyle Stamps, and it could not be any sweeter. I tried to go in a different direction, and not the traditional reds and pinks that go with Valentine's Day on this card because I wanted to showcase just how versatile the set can be! I mean, cupcakes are for ALL the time, right?

I colored Patty with Copics (full list below), twice - once on my base layer and again on the image that I cut out an popped up on dimensionals. I sponged just inside my nestie shape, and hand-stitched the lighter panel of Basic Grey's Pyrus patterned paper on to the darker panel. The jumbo button, like I mentioned earlier, was made using the i-top tool by Imaginesce. I just threaded a bit of brown satin ribbon through it and considered this one done!

If you haven't seen it, here is a look at the whole Patty Love set. It's available at a special pre-order price though January 15th - 20% off the regular retail price of $19.95! So you could get this whole set for $15.95 - order quick!!

And you can take a look at the InStyle Stamps blog for more awesome samples featuring this set. I will be using it all the time!

Ooooo that is gorgeous! You are so much better at this than I am. I think there are some "new" effects that could really make a huge difference in what I do. That is truly wonderful.
