Birthday Birdie

I finally had a chance to sit down and do some stamping! The baby boy's room is pretty much complete - I've still got a few things in there but they just don't have another home yet (like my elliptical machine, lol). He won't notice - he's living in our room for awhile anyway!

I took a look at my April calendar and noticed that I've already missed one birthday this month, and needed to make another card for an upcoming birthday. So that is what I worked on today - checked those off of my list! Woohoo!!

I made this simple and cheerful card for a good friend. I love the colors and the Basic Grey dp. My daughter loved it too - she took all of the scraps off of my desk as I made the card. I stamped the image and sentiment (from Party Animals by LAD) on my white panel and then ran it through the Cuttlebug. I cut out the birdie from another piece of scrap paper and popped it up on dimensionals. The stitching is done by hand, as is the distressing around the edges.

Hope she likes it!
