Little Bee

This is a super quick card I made this weekend for two different challenges - the Cupcake Inspiration Challenge over at Hope Stamps Eternal, and CPS Sketch 157. I literally tripped over a plastic storage box in my stamp room and discovered a whole bunch of Inkadinkado stamps that have never seen ink!! *Le Gasp*, as my friend Kathy says!

Obviously I had to remedy that situation. So I used this little bee image to make this simple card. I love this color scheme - the red really pops. The whole card didn't take more than 30 minutes, which was nice. I also remembered to use the new Martha Stewart edge punch I got myself for the ribbon along the bottom. This card is going in my stack of all occasion cards that gets used when I've forgotten about something and need a last minute card. Always good to have!

Materials:
  • Cardstock/Paper: SU Bordering Blue, Riding Hood Red, Prismatics Butter Cream
  • Stamps: Inkadinkado Bee
  • Ink: Bordering Blue
  • Tools & Accessories: nesties, paper piercer, MS edge punch, thread

whaaaa? no ink yet? LOL, I have tons like that. I love them but there just isn't enough time in the day. Your "newfound" stamps are awesome, they made for a great card! Congrats by the way on making the top 5 for the cupcake inspiration challenge!
