A Simple, Quick Card

Wow! My holidays were SO busy - how about yours? So much family to see and spend time with, road trips, cozy evenings, games, and other fun stuff. It was wonderful!!! Sorry for the long break in posting while we celebrated, but since I'm pregnant too I just had to give up a few things for a couple of weeks or I would've burnt out completely!

Here is a super simple, clean card I made using some bright colors - a total departure from the holiday cards! I'm so ready to be making flowery and lovey-dovey stuff :) I used the LAD set Garden Inspirations and left as much white space as I could.

One of my favorite things about this card is that I used ALL scraps (with the exception of the base) to make it! So I'm using up leftovers and not wasting paper - yay!!!

I'll be in the craft room most of the day today so I'll have fun stuff to show you all week! Hope your New Year has started off great!

Materials:
  • Cardstock/Paper: Whisper White, Taken with Teal, Pink Passion
  • Stamps:LAD Garden Inspirations
  • Ink: Taken with Teal, Pixie Pink
  • Tools:
  • Accessories: dew drops

This is terrific! My CAS cards with parallel pieces of DP always come out looking like a hot mess...well done!

I hear you! I, too, am already in the mood for fun loving and cheerful colors! Great card, I've always loved that floral set, you've inspired me to ink it up again! Hope you're getting plenty of rest!
