Playtime With My Daughter

My creative daughter loves to play "puppets" - her version is basically holding action figures or Barbies or paper dolls up and creating a play. They aren't really puppets, but she can call them whatever she wants, lol. She also loves it when I stamp an extra image or two and give it to her - she thinks it is super fun. So I decided to combine those two things for her, and give her new "puppets"!

I used my Lizzie Anne stamps to give me some people and some accessories. I stamped, colored, cut out, and stuck on popsicle sticks in less than 2 hours. Not bad, I thought! Of course, now she wants more!! The next step is to get one of those three section posterboards like kids use for science fair projects and create a whole background for her. One side will have an ocean scene, woods on another, and a field of flowers on the third. That might take a couple more weeks, though!

She's been happily playing for over an hour already this morning, so I'm counting this as a success. What an easy and inexpensive project for her!
