An Apple a Day....

Today is the third day in a row the temperatures have been cooler, the humidity has been gone, and it has really been feeling like fall. I *love* it!!! I know that it will get hot one more time before fall really settles in - it always does - but I so wish it wouldn't! I'm always so inspired by fall colors and smells, and I love all the fun activities fall brings with it!

This is another card using the September Monthly Mix, called Something to Crow About, from Lizzie Anne Designs. I went with a monochromatic color scheme on this, because it looks like what I see outside my craft room window these days - green apples on the ground (that didn't get picked off of our apple tree), a wooden swing set, some big old trees towards the back of the yard. Lots of green and brown out there right now!
My cardstocks are from SU and the dp is from Basic Grey. I used Copics to color the apples. It's a fairly simple card, but that is totally what I'm in the mood for!

If you aren't a Monthly Mix member, you should be!!! Here are all of the details about how to sign up - it really is an amazing deal! Who doesn't love fresh goodies delivered to their door every month? And the ladies at Lizzie Anne come up with such fun stamps to put into these mixes - you'll never get bored!

In other fun news, this week's Product of the Week at Lizzie Anne is the Happy Harvest set! It is 20% off this week - and what a perfect time of year to get this set if you don't have it!!
